Got this myself on my phone, as well as it just rejected to update. Below's what helped me.

Edit: this seems to be a concern that Facebook know. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and not a generalised Play Store issue.

This is what helped me a minimum of.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear information and also Clear cache

  2. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all data and Clear cache


It does not harmed if you reboot your phone prior to you try updating facebook again. As well as, the install was SLOW. Simply at least 4-5 mins. But, it did work. Otherwise attempt to uninstall it, or just wait on a solution.
