Got this myself on my phone, and it just declined to update. Below's what helped me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook are aware of. It's a concern with the Facebook application, as well as not a generalised Play Store issue.

This is what benefited me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Shop, Clear data and Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage room, Clear all data and Clear cache


It doesn't injured if you restart your phone prior to you try upgrading facebook again. As well as, the install was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 mins. But, it did job. Otherwise try to uninstall it, or simply wait for a solution.
