I Updated Facebook and now It Won't Work | Update

Got this myself on my phone, and it just declined to upgrade. Below's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook know. It's a concern with the Facebook application, and also not a generalised Play Store concern.

This is what benefited me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Store, Clear information as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage area, Clear all information and Clear cache


It doesn't hurt if you reactivate your phone prior to you try upgrading facebook once more. As well as, the mount was SLOW. Simply at the very least 4-5 mins. But, it did work. Otherwise try to uninstall it, or just wait for a fix.
