Got this myself on my phone, and it just rejected to update. Right here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a concern that Facebook recognize. It's a problem with the Facebook app, as well as not a generalised Play Shop concern.

This is what helped me at least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Shop, Clear information as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Provider > Manage space, Clear all data as well as Clear cache


It does not injured if you reboot your phone before you attempt updating facebook once again. And also, the mount was SLOW. Simply at least 4-5 minutes. Yet, it did job. If not try to uninstall it, or just wait for a fix.
