Facebook App Not Working after Update | Update

Got this myself on my phone, and also it just rejected to update. Here's what benefited me.

Edit: this seems to be a problem that Facebook are aware of. It's an issue with the Facebook app, and also not a generalised Play Store problem.

This is what helped me at the very least.

  1. Settings > Applications > All > Google Play Store, Clear data as well as Clear cache

  2. Settings > Apps > All > Google Play Services > Manage room, Clear all data and Clear cache


It does not injured if you reactivate your phone prior to you attempt updating facebook again. And also, the install was SLOW. Simply a minimum of 4-5 mins. However, it did work. If not try to uninstall it, or simply wait for a solution.
